Key Responsibilities
Research & Innovation
- Conduct independent, high-impact research leading to internationally recognized publications.
- Develop and sustain an externally funded research program aligned with departmental priorities.
- Collaborate across disciplines and engage with industry partners and research centers to translate research into practical applications.
Teaching & Student Development
- Teach and supervise undergraduate and graduate students with a commitment to academic excellence.
- Mentor students and junior researchers, fostering their academic and professional development.
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental service activities.
Strategic Contribution
- Support the department's efforts to enhance its international visibility and contribute to the university's strategic research goals.
Qualifications & Experience
- Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated record of research excellence with high-impact publications.
- Proven teaching experience and success in student supervision.
- Evidence of ability to secure and manage externally funded research projects.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Interest in multidisciplinary collaboration and contributing to departmental growth.

- Molecular Thermodynamics and Advanced Computational Methods: Focusing on phase behavior, transport phenomena, and process modeling to achieve molecular-level understanding for process design and innovation.
- Circular Economy and Sustainable Conversion Technologies: Advancing catalysis, reaction engineering, and process systems to enable sustainable production of fuels, chemicals, and materials.
- Energy Systems and Electrochemical Engineering: Integrating materials design, thermodynamics, kinetics, and transport principles to improve energy production, conversion, storage, and utilization, including hydrogen, batteries, and electrochemical systems.
