Role Overview
Assistant - Printer at Al Ghurair.
Role Purpose
Support printing operations by preparing and maintaining sheetfed printing machines, managing materials, and assisting with quality control and preventive maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Machine Setup
- Prepare sheetfed printing machines based on job specifications.
- Verify plates, paper size, and ink type.
- Assist with basic calibration under supervision.
Material Preparation
- Collect and stage required paper, ink, and plates.
- Confirm specifications against job orders.
- Handle storage of unused materials safely.
Maintenance & Production Support
- Assist with preventive maintenance tasks.
- Monitor press cleanliness.
- Feed paper during production runs.
- Check for misprints or alignment issues.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Printing Technology.
