Role Overview
Assistant Manager - Transportation Services at Wynn Al Marjan Island, located in the United Arab Emirates, opening Spring 2027.
Company Overview
Wynn Al Marjan Island is an opulent beachside resort destination under construction on a picturesque island on the Arabian Gulf, less than 50 miles from Dubai International Airport. The integrated resort will feature 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theater, nightclub, and five-star spa.
Role Purpose
To supervise and manage all transportation services for the resort, ensuring punctual, professional, and personalized guest transfers, airport pickups, and special event transportation that meets Forbes Five-Star standards.
Key Responsibilities
Scheduling & Dispatch
- Supervise the scheduling and dispatching of hotel vehicles for guest transfers, airport pickups, and special events.
Service Delivery
- Ensure all transportation services are delivered punctually and professionally.
- Ensure personalized and seamless transportation experiences for VIPs, groups, and individual guests.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests related to transportation.
Coordination
- Coordinate with Concierge, Front Office, and Events teams for transportation arrangements.
- Liaise with external transportation providers and rental companies as needed.
Staff Management
- Lead and manage chauffeurs, drivers, and transportation coordinators.
- Conduct regular training on service standards, safety protocols, and guest handling.
- Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and feedback.
Vehicle & Operations Management
- Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules and cleanliness standards.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and service logs.
- Assist in budgeting and cost control for transportation services.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure all vehicles and drivers comply with local transportation regulations and hotel policies.
- Conduct regular safety checks and audits.
- Maintain insurance and licensing documentation for all vehicles and drivers.
- Ensure qualitative Forbes Five-Star standards are met.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in hotel transportation or limousine services, with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of luxury service standards and guest handling.
- Valid driver's license and familiarity with local traffic laws.
- Prior experience and training with Forbes Travel Guide standards.
