Role Overview
Assistant Manager – Motorsport Strategy at Qiddiya Investment Company. The role is based at Qiddiya's headquarters supporting the strategic planning and delivery of the Motorsport portfolio.
Role Purpose
Support the strategic planning and delivery of Qiddiya's Motorsport portfolio across events, IP partnerships, and operator appointment initiatives. Contribute to business case development, strategic analyses, and cross-functional programmes while coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure successful planning and execution of motorsport assets in line with Qiddiya's long-term vision.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Business Development
- Support the strategic development and delivery of Qiddiya Motorsport assets across Motorsport Events, IP partnerships, and Operator Appointment.
- Support the development of feasibility studies, business cases, and financial assessments for new motorsport initiatives, events, partnerships, and asset developments.
- Conduct market research, demand analysis, and financial modelling to inform strategic decisions.
Procurement & Operator Management
- Support operator procurement activities, including preparation of RFP documentation, governance papers, and evaluation processes.
- Support operator mobilisation programmes.
Events & Partnerships
- Assist in the management of international motorsport events and rights holder relationships.
- Support event planning, operational readiness, and commercial coordination.
- Support the management of strategic IP partnerships and commercial initiatives.
- Monitor contractual obligations, partner deliverables, and activation programmes.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate cross-functional projects involving Development, Asset Management, Procurement, Legal, Finance, and external consultants.
- Ensure programme milestones are achieved.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Reporting & Governance
- Prepare high-quality presentations, reports, business cases, and Executive Committee materials to support strategic decision-making.
- Maintain programme plans, action trackers, risk registers, and governance documentation.
- Ensure accurate reporting and timely delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related fields.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in strategy, management consulting, motorsport, sports, entertainment, destination development, or a related field.
