Role Overview
Assistant Designer at Apparel Group. A 3D Visualizer supporting retail interior and store design projects, responsible for creating high-quality 3D models, realistic renders, and detailed AutoCAD drawings for retail stores and mall submissions.
Role Purpose
Translate design concepts into 3D visualizations and technical drawings, working with materials, finishes, lighting, and furniture while coordinating with design and project teams to ensure accurate and timely execution.
Key Responsibilities
AutoCAD & Technical Drawings
- Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
- Prepare complete drawing sets for retail stores and mall submissions.
- Coordinate drawings with the design team and project requirements.
- Ensure all drawings are accurate and ready for execution.
3D Visualization & Rendering
- Create high-quality 3D renderings and presentation visuals for retail and interior design projects.
- Convert design concepts, sketches, and AutoCAD drawings into realistic 3D models.
- Apply accurate materials, finishes, textures, lighting, and furniture in all visualizations.
- Deliver presentation-ready images within project timelines.
Design & Project Coordination
- Develop concept layouts and design presentations for retail stores in malls, ensuring they meet brand guidelines and functional requirements.
- Coordinate with the design and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure all drawings and renderings meet the company's quality standards.
- Support the team with any other design-related tasks as required.
Project Management
- Follow project timelines and deliver work on schedule.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Stay updated with new software, rendering techniques, and design trends.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience as a 3D Visualizer, preferably in retail, commercial, or fit-out projects.
- Good knowledge of materials, finishes, lighting, and current design trends, preferably in the retail industry.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent design skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Experience in preparing detailed drawings and complete drawing sets.
- Proficiency in 3D software such as 3ds Max, SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, D5 Render, or similar.
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
