Role Overview

Assistant Clinical Instructor at the College of Dentistry, Ajman University, UAE. This position is available to UAE Nationals only.

Role Purpose

Support faculty and instructors in delivering clinical dental education by facilitating a safe and stimulating learning environment, assisting with lesson preparation and delivery, and providing direct support to students in their academic and practical development.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching Support & Delivery

• Provide support to faculty and instructors to ensure a safe and stimulating educational environment.
• Assist faculty in planning, preparation, and implementation of daily teaching and learning activities.
• Present subject matter to students under the guidance of a faculty member using a variety of methods including discussions and role-playing.
• Assist students individually or in groups with lesson assignments to present or reinforce learning concepts.

Instructional Materials & Resources

• Assist faculty in planning, preparing, and developing various teaching aids for use in the classroom.
• Plan, prepare, and develop various teaching aids for use in the classroom, including activity sheets, drawings, and similar handouts.
• Develop skill in preparing instructional aids and plans.

Student & Research Support

• Help students and researchers in the college in conducting experiments, research, and projects.
• Assist faculty in activities related to student advising.

Community & Operational

• Participate in community engagement services.
• Participate in the recruitment of volunteers, as appropriate to the area of operation.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor degree in a related field from a reputed university.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience.
• Teaching experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
• Active practice license in UAE (MOH/DHA/DOH).
