Role Overview
Assistant Accountant position with Tawazon, a division of Ghobash Group. This role is open to Saudi Nationals and based in Saudi Arabia.

Tawazon, founded in 1992, specializes in supplying raw materials to various industries including paint and ink, construction chemicals, packaging, fiberglass, plastics, rubber, food, and polyurethane. The company delivers products directly from countries of origin or from warehouses in Dubai, Riyadh, Jeddah, Jakarta, Durban, Mumbai, Chennai, and Nairobi, and provides logistics services for leading petrochemical manufacturers in Saudi Arabia.
Role Purpose
Execute core financial functions including budgeting, forecasting, ledger management, reconciliations, and compliance to ensure financial accuracy, timely reporting, and support decision-making through financial insights. The role demands precision, integrity, and the ability to work under pressure within deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Records & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain financial records, invoices, and ledgers.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Manage general ledger entries and ensure journal accuracy and compliance.
Operations & Reconciliations
- Coordinate daily accounting-related operations to support warehouse department activities.
- Reconcile bank accounts, vendor statements, and customer accounts.
Payroll & Cost Management
- Support payroll processing and inter-department cost allocations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Accounting or equivalent qualification.
- 1–2 years of experience in a Finance or Accounting role.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
