Company Overview

Baker Hughes' Drilling Services AMO Team assembles and tests the latest drilling equipment products. The team collaborates with service delivery teams across science, mechanical and electrical engineering, physics, and geoscience to develop innovative drilling tools.

Role Purpose

Provide specialist support in maintenance, assembly, and manufacturing of Drilling & Evaluation down-hole tools and surface instrumentation. Work unsupervised within the limit of proven competence to support the organization's maintenance and reliability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Assembly and Manufacturing

• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints and parts lists.
• Follow formal procedures and maintenance practices.

Maintenance and Repair

• Assist with activities to ensure repairs, scheduled and preventive maintenance on factory equipment are completed on-time and safely.

Quality Assurance

• Perform quality assurance activities required by manufacturing or engineering specifications and ISO requirements to ensure compliance.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to provide technical guidance and troubleshooting knowledge.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or any relevant degree.
• 5+ years maintenance related experience in electro-mechanical drilling function.
• Previous experience with Baker Hughes (preferred).

Skills & Competencies

• Advanced mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with general hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
• Ability to identify problems and develop solutions.
