Role Overview
HanmiGlobal Saudi Arabia is recruiting an Architect Inspector to join its Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team for a major residential development project in Riyadh. The role is responsible for inspecting architectural construction works and ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, project requirements, and applicable building codes throughout the construction process.
Role Purpose
Inspect architectural construction works across all finishes and elements, verify compliance with approved documentation and standards, coordinate with project stakeholders, and maintain comprehensive quality records to support successful project delivery and handover.
Key Responsibilities
Inspection & Quality Assurance
- Inspect architectural works including blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, ceilings, flooring, wall finishes, doors, windows, joinery, and architectural finishes.
- Review contractor Inspection Requests (IRs) and conduct site inspections in accordance with approved inspection and test plans (ITPs).
- Verify that all installed materials comply with approved material submittals and project specifications.
- Monitor workmanship and ensure compliance with approved construction methodologies.
- Participate in mock-up inspections and approval of architectural finishes.
Non-Conformance & Corrective Action
- Identify non-conforming works and issue inspection observations and corrective action requests.
- Verify completion of corrective actions prior to approving completed works.
Coordination & Governance
- Coordinate inspections with Resident Engineers, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.
- Ensure compliance with Quality, HSE, and project governance requirements.
- Support project quality audits and final handover inspections.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and photographic documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of architectural inspection experience.
- Previous experience on large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.
- Experience with PMC, engineering consultants, or international contractors is preferred.
- Strong understanding of architectural finishes and construction quality requirements.
Skills & Competencies
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of architectural materials, finishes, and installation methods.
- Familiarity with inspection procedures, ITPs, and QA/QC documentation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.

Additional Information
- Valid registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers is required where applicable.
- Saudi Council of Engineers Registration is preferred.
- QA/QC certifications are considered an advantage.
