Role Purpose

The incumbent will work in a project environment from study phase through designing, implementation, documenting, delivering and maintaining Digital Integration solutions primarily in the Middle East region. The role involves applying software technologies to achieve Asset Performance Management (APM), Operations Management and other HCI solutions across Oil & Gas, Refinery, Chemical and minerals industries. Digital Integration solutions require expertise across multiple skill areas including APM, UI/UX, equipment maintenance and data science techniques. The candidate is expected to work in part or all of these areas.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Delivery & Design

• Contribute in technical discussions in the areas of asset performance, digital integrations and data-driven models.
• Work with the lead or senior engineer to design and deliver projects.
• Deliver independently assigned portions of work with minimum supervision.
• Support development of conceptual, user requirement, functional and detailed technical design specifications.
• Provide support and broad expertise for digital integration applications.

Customer Engagement & Stakeholder Management

• Establish acceptance of designs with customer stakeholders.
• Translate and convey impact of process and system changes to bottom line.
• Articulate benefits and value to the customer.
• Participate and facilitate critical project activities, ensuring buy-in and acceptance from the customer.
• Carry out product demonstrations and proof of concepts.

Quality Assurance & Testing

• Ensure that appropriate test scripts, test data, test logs and defect logs are in place.
• Guarantee quality delivery of solutions.

Change Management & Training

• Support change management within customer organization through preparation of business process diagrams.
• Prepare training and best practice documentation.
• Conduct training sessions.

Knowledge Sharing & Communication

• Share technical knowledge with project team, supervisor, own discipline and other disciplines.
• Communicate with internal team regarding technical issues.
• Escalate issues early in the project.

Sales Support

• Provide pre-sales support to proposal teams.
• Showcase and define Honeywell's solutions to potential customers.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, IT, Physics or similar discipline.
• Preferably holds industrial IT technology certificates such as SQL Server, Python and state-of-the-art Programming Languages.

Additional Information

• Direct staff position with billability to external customer projects, intercompany customer projects and customer support services, on average ≥90%.
• Direct reporting line to the Engineering Manager for Digital Integration.
• Position requires approximately 30% travel, mostly within Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East.
