Role Overview
Analyst – Strategy at NMC Healthcare, based in the United Arab Emirates. The role works within the Transformation department to provide analytical support for key projects and strategic initiatives.
Role Purpose
Support the strategic transformation efforts of the healthcare organization by conducting data-driven analyses, preparing reports, and contributing to the development and implementation of strategic initiatives that improve organizational performance, patient outcomes, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Analysis
- Support strategic planning and transformation initiatives through detailed data collection and analysis.
- Conduct market research, benchmarking, and trend analysis to identify opportunities and risks.
- Prepare business cases, feasibility studies, and impact assessments for proposed initiatives.
- Analyze internal performance data to identify areas for operational improvement.
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in healthcare strategy and transformation.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Track and report on KPIs and project performance metrics to measure progress and outcomes.
- Monitor and report on the implementation status of strategic transformation projects.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of strategic initiatives and analytical models.
- Use tools such as Excel, Power BI, and other data visualization platforms to present insights.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
- Assist in the design and delivery of presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and alignment of strategic efforts.
- Support strategic workshops, focus groups, and stakeholder meetings.
- Coordinate with PMO teams to ensure alignment between strategy and execution.
Financial & Operational Support
- Assist with financial modeling and resource allocation analysis.
- Provide support in aligning projects with UAE healthcare regulations and national strategies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Economics, Public Health, or related field (mandatory).
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in strategy, transformation, healthcare consulting, or project management within the healthcare sector.
- Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or Strategy Management) is an advantage.
- Prior experience working in the UAE healthcare system is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Solid understanding of strategic planning and healthcare transformation processes.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
