Role Purpose

Support the U.S. Government in supply, inventory, and stockpile management for all U.S. Army ammunition stocks in USCENTCOM, ensuring safe operations and smart mission execution through asset visibility, accountability, and ammunition operations expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Supply and Inventory Management

• Assist with supply, inventory, and stockpile management for all U.S. Army ammunition stocks in USCENTCOM.
• Establish and set theater stockage objectives.
• Monitor on-hand stocks for theater war reserves, operational and training ammunition.
• Keep accountability and visibility of all munitions within USCENTCOM.
• Track asset movement, disposition, redistribution, retrograde, and call forward operations.
• Support foreign military sales, maintenance, demilitarization, and disposal instructions.

Systems and Automation

• Provide management and asset visibility through Standard Army Ammunition System (SAAS), Total Ammunition Management Information System (TAMIS), Munitions History Program (MHP), and National Level Ammunition Capability (NLAC).
• Maintain SAAS connectivity.
• Process Daily Cycles and Reports.
• Support normal inventory operations and proper accountability of stocks.

Logistics and Shipment Tracking

• Track shipment of ammunition by air, ground, and sea vessel within the theater.
• Perform troubleshooting for issues involving Class V schedule shipments.
• Provide analysis of ammunition pallet shortages by destination.

Reporting and Analysis

• Provide Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft PowerPoint slides showing ammunition stock levels.
• Identify shortages and recommend resupply actions.

Ammunition Basic Load Management

• Receive, evaluate, and approve or disapprove Ammunition Basic Load (ABL) requests after analyzing unit authorizations.
• Track ABL request status and provide up-to-date status updates.

Subject Matter Expertise

• Serve as subject matter expert in ammunition operations and contingency planning.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree, or an additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of 5+ years of Theater/Operational level Conventional Ammunition Management experience, including distribution and accountability of ammunitions.
• 10+ years of technical experience with ammunition management and theater distribution.
• Current active Secret security clearance (ability to maintain Secret clearance required).
• Ability to meet CENTCOM/CRC medical and deployment requirements for OCONUS.
• Current U.S. Passport with at least two years remaining validity.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Kuwait Work Visa.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary Range: $61,402 - $74,750 (not a guarantee; based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements).
