Role Purpose
The Alternate Site Manager meets Contractor work requirements through personnel scheduling, work supervision, and quality control for all tasks associated with the task order. The Alternate Site Manager fills in for the Site Manager when unavailable and has full authority to act for the Contractor on all task order matters during the Site Manager's absence. While acting as Site Manager, the Alternate Site Manager must be available within four hours to meet with Government personnel at the installation to discuss focus areas.
Key Responsibilities
Mission Support
- Perform any duties assigned in support of mission.
Escort Management and Supervision
- Have thorough understanding of the duties and responsibilities of the escorts.
- Manage schedule of escorts.
- Ensure escorts fully understand and comply with site policies and escort responsibilities.
- Ensure team of escorts adequately executes monitoring of un-cleared personnel (LN/OCN) into areas and monitors personnel while performing work.
- Make on-the-spot corrections as required.
- Ensure all local base escorting policies are followed by the team.
Personnel Verification and Accountability
- Ensure escorts properly verify LN/OCN personnel are logged in and out.
- Ensure personnel counts are performed before and after personnel perform duties.
Qualifications & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum five years' experience related to the requirements and qualifications necessary to manage and perform the task.
- Experience in management and supervision of staff.
Skills & Competencies
- Understanding of escort duties and responsibilities.
- Personnel scheduling and work supervision.
- Quality control execution.
Additional Information
Security and Citizenship
- Must have US Citizenship.
- Active DOD SECRET Clearance required.
Licensing and Documentation
- Valid US Passport (preferred).
- Valid US Driver's License with good driving record.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Residency Visa for Kuwait.
Travel and Deployment
- Travel: 100%, deployed overseas.
- Must be able to meet all current USCENTCOM Deployment Policy Requirements, as outlined in the USCENTCOM APR 23 MOD EIGHTEEN TO USCENTCOM INDIVIDUAL AND INDIVIDUAL-UNIT DEPLOYMENT POLICY.
Physical Requirements and Work Conditions
- Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
- Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather, and hazardous conditions.
- Physical requirements include lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Work may require using and wearing personal protective equipment such as hearing and eye protection.
- Work requires moderate physical exertion including walking to operating areas and walking up stairs.
- Must be capable of meeting and maintaining deployment medical and dental requirements.
