Role Overview

AI Product Owner for Orient Insurance PJSC in Dubai, a position within Al Futtaim Group, a leading diversified regional business operating across automotive, financial services, real estate, retail, and healthcare.

Role Purpose

Drive the end-to-end delivery of AI-powered products and intelligent automation solutions across the insurance value chain by combining business strategy, technology leadership, and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision

• Define and own the AI product vision, roadmap, and backlog.
• Identify high-impact AI use cases across underwriting, claims, customer service, operations, finance, and distribution.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Manage vendor relationships and guide technical teams through AI solution design, development, and implementation.
• Translate insurance business requirements into AI-driven solutions, ensuring alignment between stakeholder needs and technical capabilities.
• Lead cross-functional product delivery initiatives.

Adoption & Performance

• Drive adoption of AI solutions across the organization.
• Measure business impact and iterate based on performance metrics and stakeholder feedback.

Governance & Compliance

• Establish AI governance frameworks, data strategies, and best practices to ensure responsible and compliant AI deployment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in insurance, financial services, or AI-driven product environments.
• Strong understanding of insurance operations, including underwriting, claims, and distribution, with ability to identify automation opportunities.
• Demonstrated knowledge of AI/ML concepts, cloud architecture, APIs, Large Language Models, data models, and AI governance.
