Role Purpose
As an AI Consultant focused on the Energy sector across the Middle East, you will work with clients to identify, shape, and accelerate AI transformation opportunities. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, understand business priorities, define value-driven AI initiatives, and develop strategies, operating models, governance frameworks, and adoption roadmaps that deliver measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Transformation
- Identify, shape, and accelerate AI transformation opportunities with clients.
- Develop AI strategies, operating models, and transformation roadmaps tailored to client needs.
- Define value-driven AI initiatives aligned with business priorities.
- Create adoption roadmaps that deliver measurable outcomes.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage senior stakeholders to understand business priorities and strategic objectives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients throughout the engagement lifecycle.
- Facilitate workshops and conduct stakeholder interviews to gather requirements.
- Develop executive-level business narratives that resonate with leadership.
Presales & Opportunity Development
- Support presales activities including opportunity qualification and solution shaping.
- Develop proposals, business cases, and return-on-investment models.
- Develop proof-of-concept plans to validate AI solutions.
- Move opportunities from initial discussion through to successful engagement.
Delivery & Solution Development
- Work closely with solution architects, engineering teams, and delivery teams to turn client challenges into practical AI solutions.
- Partner with sellers and ecosystem partners to shape solutions.
- Contribute insights from client conversations to strengthen go-to-market approach.
Market & Practice Development
- Help shape regional market demand for AI solutions.
- Contribute to the evolution of AI offerings within the practice.
- Bring entrepreneurial mindset to identify and pursue new opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
- 10 or more years of experience in consulting, professional services, business transformation, AI, data, analytics, or related client-facing roles.
- Experience shaping or delivering AI, machine learning, generative AI, agentic AI, analytics, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong experience working with clients in the Oil & Gas and Utilities sector across the Middle East and Africa.
- Proven ability to develop AI strategies, operating models, transformation roadmaps, and value cases.
- Experience supporting presales activities including opportunity qualification, solution shaping, proposal development, business cases, and executive stakeholder engagement.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Skills & Competencies
- Working knowledge of enterprise AI concepts including large language models, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), data readiness, governance, responsible AI, and adoption considerations.
- Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and structured problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with leading cloud and AI platforms such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, OpenAI, Anthropic, Databricks, or Snowflake.
- Fluency in Arabic and English preferred, with ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders across the region.
