AI GTM Consulting - Banking at NTT DATA Limited. This role is based in the Middle East region, serving the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the wider Gulf region on a hybrid working basis.

Role Purpose

As an AI Consultant within NTT DATA's Global Banking and Financial Services AI Go-to-Market team, you will advise leading financial institutions on their AI transformation journeys across the Middle East. You will help shape and grow the AI business by translating client priorities into successful engagements, working alongside AI Architects, Forward-Deployed Engineering teams, Delivery, Sales, Industry Leaders and Partners.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Engagement & Stakeholder Management

• Engage executive stakeholders across retail banking, commercial banking, wealth management and capital markets organisations.
• Build trusted relationships with Chief Information Officers, Chief Data and AI Officers, Chief Risk Officers, Chief Marketing Officers and senior business leaders.
• Facilitate executive discussions to identify strategic opportunities.
• Establish and maintain executive-level presence across financial institutions in the Middle East.

Strategy & Transformation

• Lead workshops, maturity assessments and discovery sessions to help clients define AI strategies and transformation roadmaps.
• Define governance frameworks and operating models for client AI initiatives.
• Connect AI opportunities to broader business objectives to improve customer experience, operational efficiency, risk outcomes and enterprise value.
• Facilitate strategic planning engagements.
• Support business consulting and operating model design capabilities.

Solution Development & Pre-Sales

• Translate business challenges into practical AI solutions working alongside technical teams.
• Support development of compelling business cases, proposals, proof-of-concepts and executive presentations.
• Support pre-sales activities, opportunity qualification and solution design.
• Develop business cases to demonstrate measurable business value.

Risk, Governance & Compliance

• Advise clients on responsible AI, model risk management, data residency and operational resilience.
• Navigate regulatory expectations within highly regulated financial services environments.
• Ensure understanding of AI governance, risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Support clients with data privacy and localisation considerations.

Market Development & Collaboration

• Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to shape AI offerings and develop go-to-market strategies.
• Continually improve client-facing assets and capabilities.
• Work collaboratively across sales, consulting, delivery, engineering and partner ecosystems.
• Help clients define how AI can create measurable business value while operating within regulated environments.

Qualifications & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in consulting, professional services, strategy, transformation, AI, data, analytics or similar client-facing industry roles.
• Experience shaping or delivering AI, machine learning, generative AI, agentic AI, analytics or digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of banking and capital markets including industry operating models, governance structures and regulatory environments.
• Demonstrated experience working with financial institutions across the Middle East, particularly within the UAE and wider Gulf region.
• Established executive-level stakeholder engagement capabilities with both business and technology leaders.
• Experience supporting pre-sales activities, opportunity qualification, solution design, business case development and proposal creation.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of enterprise AI concepts including large language models (LLMs), AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), data readiness and responsible AI principles.
• Knowledge of AI governance, risk management, regulatory expectations, data privacy and localisation considerations within financial services environments.
• Ability to facilitate executive workshops, assessments and strategic planning engagements.
• Strong business consulting, transformation and operating model design capabilities.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.
• Consultative mindset and strong executive presence.
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous and evolving environments.
• Familiarity with cloud and AI platforms such as Azure, AWS, GCP, OpenAI, Anthropic, Databricks or Snowflake.
• Curiosity, creativity and commitment to continuous learning.
