Role Overview
Adjunct Faculty in Finance position at the College of Business Administration, Ajman University, beginning Fall Semester 2026–27 academic year.
Role Purpose
Deliver high-quality instruction in undergraduate Finance courses, drawing on current industry practices and professional experience to prepare students for finance careers while maintaining alignment with course objectives and institutional standards.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Instruction
- Deliver high-quality instruction in undergraduate Finance courses, ensuring alignment with course objectives and active student engagement.
- Design innovative and practice-oriented course materials and adapt to evolving teaching methodologies.
- Develop, organize, and update instructional resources, syllabi, and teaching materials.
Industry Integration & Engagement
- Share current industry practices, professional standards, and workplace experiences.
- Integrate practical applications, business cases, simulations, and emerging industry trends into classroom learning.
- Inspire and motivate students to develop finance competencies and professional growth.
Student Assessment & Support
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to support learning.
Collaboration & Community
- Promote effective collaboration with colleagues and build productive relationships within the university and broader community.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably with a professional qualification such as CFA, ACCA, CPA, or ICEAW.
- Minimum of five years of relevant professional or industry experience; previous teaching experience is welcome but not essential.
- Fluency in English; excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong commitment to ethical and professional practice.
