Role Overview

Adjunct Faculty in Accounting at Ajman University's College of Business Administration, beginning Fall Semester 2026–27.

Role Purpose

Deliver high-quality instruction in undergraduate Accounting courses while integrating current industry practices, professional standards, and workplace experiences to develop student accounting competencies and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

Instruction & Course Delivery

• Deliver high-quality instruction in undergraduate Accounting courses, ensuring alignment with course objectives and active student engagement.
• Design innovative and practice-oriented course materials and adapt to evolving teaching methodologies.
• Develop, organize, and update instructional resources, syllabi, and teaching materials.
• Integrate practical applications, business cases, simulations, and emerging industry trends into classroom learning.

Student Development & Assessment

• Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to support learning.
• Inspire and motivate students to develop accounting competencies and professional growth.
• Share current industry practices, professional standards, and workplace experiences.

Collaboration & Relationships

• Promote effective collaboration with colleagues and build productive relationships within the university and broader community.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably with a professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or ICEAW.
• Minimum of five years of relevant professional or industry experience; previous teaching experience is welcome but not essential.
• Fluency in English; excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong commitment to ethical and professional practice.
