Adjunct Faculty - Early Childhood Education

Role Overview

Adjunct Faculty – Early Childhood Education at Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT). This is a temporary teaching position that brings practical knowledge and varied experience to enhance student learning.

Role Purpose

Provide effective instruction in undergraduate courses in Early Childhood Education, including regular program courses, capstone projects, work experience, and senior-level specialized courses, while reporting to the Program Coordinator of the Division.

Key Responsibilities

Instruction

• Deliver effective teaching in undergraduate courses within the Early Childhood Education discipline.
• Cover regular program courses, capstone projects, work experience, and senior-level specialized courses.

Engagement & Outreach

• Participate in applied research activities at the College.
• Engage in extra-curricular events at the College and within the community.
• Support outreach activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Earned academic degree: Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate.
• Currently serving in an industrial position.
• At least 5 years of relevant industrial experience in an area relevant to the Early Childhood Education program.

Additional Information

• Teaching load assigned on an as-needed basis; may not exceed 6 credits per semester.
• Normal workdays: Sunday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
• Hours of work for academic employees are based on the teaching schedule.
