Staybridge Suites Doha Lusail is a modern serviced apartment hotel strategically located 10 minutes from downtown Doha and 30 minutes from Hamad International Airport. The property offers stylishly designed one, two- and three-bedroom apartments with separate bedrooms, living areas, full kitchens, laundry machines, and workspaces. Role Purpose
Ensure financial accuracy, integrity, and seamless financial processes across the hotel. Lead daily accounting operations, supervise a small accounting team, and support the property's financial success through strong internal controls and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Accounting Operations
- Oversee daily accounting tasks including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
- Review daily revenue reports and ensure accuracy across all hotel outlets.
- Manage supplier payments, reconciliations, and credit collections.
Financial Controls & Auditing
- Supervise Income Audit activities and ensure strong internal controls.
Reporting & Planning
- Support payroll review and monthly financial reporting.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation.
Team Leadership
- Lead, train, and support a small accounting team.
Qualifications & Experience
- At least 2 years hotel accounting experience preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of hospitality systems: Opera, Micros, SunSystems, and similar platforms.
- Excellent analytical skills.
