Role Overview
Accounting Supervisor at Hilton. This role oversees the hotel's financial operations and ensures accurate financial reporting, budget management, and team performance.
Role Purpose
Ensure accurate and compliant financial operations for the hotel by reconciling accounts, processing financial reports, managing budgets and inventory, supervising payroll, and developing a high-performing accounting team.
Key Responsibilities
General Ledger & Financial Reporting
- Reconcile General Ledger accounts and review discrepancies.
- Guide team members in resolving financial reporting issues to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Financial Reports & Closing
- Ensure accurate processing of financial reports, including month-end closing, monthly forecasts, and variance reports.
Budget & Inventory Control
- Track and manage inventories and operational expenses to maintain cost control.
Payroll Processing
- Oversee timekeeping systems and weekly payroll submissions.
- Supervise gratuity calculations and monthly payroll audits.
Financial Transactions
- Ensure proper processing of received checks.
- Calculate daily deposit transmittals and maintain financial records.
Team Leadership & Development
- Supervise, coach, and mentor team members.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities.
- Recognize achievements to build, retain, and engage a high-performing team.
