Company Overview

Sealy Mattress Middle East is seeking a meticulous and experienced Accountant to join the finance team.

Role Purpose

Manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure financial compliance, and support strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Operations

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Process General Ledger (GL) entries.
• Perform monthly and annual closing activities.

Compliance & Tax

• Prepare and submit UAE VAT returns in compliance with FTA regulations.
• Ensure adherence to IFRS.

Reporting

• Prepare balance sheets and income statements.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts.
• Assist with external audits.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• UAE market experience preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in ERP systems (Odoo).
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Deep understanding of local tax laws.
