Role Overview

Accountant at GAC.

Role Purpose

Record, reconcile, and control banking transactions and related party accounts while preparing critical financial reports and managing shipping refunds and settlement funds.

Key Responsibilities

Banking & Reconciliation

• Record all banking transactions in Dolphin and facility management systems.
• Reconcile all banking transactions.

Account Control

• Control related party accounts, excluding GAC Dubai, GAC Marine, and HUB.

Payments & Settlement

• Process shipping refunds, IATA settlement fund, and PDC.

Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly cashflow reports.
• Prepare monthly BRS (Bank Reconciliation Statement).
• Prepare monthly treasury movement reports.
• Prepare monthly customer payment pattern reports.
• Prepare monthly forex movement reports.

Ad-Hoc Duties

• Deliver ad-hoc responsibilities including KAM reports, leave cover, and other duties as required.
