Role Overview
Account Executive - Government at Lucidya, based in Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on driving government and public sector revenue through strategic sales cycles and long-term partnerships with ministries and public institutions.

Role Purpose
To own government revenue targets and build sustainable ARR growth within the public sector by establishing trusted, long-term partnerships with Saudi ministries and public institutions. You will navigate structured procurement environments, lead end-to-end sales cycles, and demonstrate measurable impact through proof of concepts that enable smarter, data-driven decision-making aligned with Vision 2030 digital transformation priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue & Pipeline Management
- Own government revenue targets and drive sustainable ARR growth within public sector accounts.
- Maintain and grow a portfolio of loyal government clients with a minimum of 5 strategic accounts preferred.
- Obsess over pipeline quality and forecasting accuracy, recognizing that government cycles require discipline.
- Identify and shape opportunities early, before formal RFP issuance.
Sales Execution
- Lead full sales cycles end-to-end: stakeholder mapping, discovery, solution positioning, PoC coordination, RFP submission, negotiation and contract closure.
- Navigate Etimad and formal procurement processes confidently and professionally.
- Confidently handle objections related to compliance, data privacy, security and public accountability.
- Communicate complex AI solutions in a simple, structured and credible way.
Proof of Concepts & Delivery
- Lead and coordinate Proof of Concepts (PoCs) that clearly demonstrate measurable impact for ministries and public institutions.
Stakeholder Management
- Build trusted relationships with decision-makers, procurement teams and executive sponsors.
- Collaborate effectively across technical and delivery teams to coordinate PoCs and implementations.
Knowledge & Continuous Learning
- Continuously learn about regulatory frameworks, procurement updates and competitive positioning within the government ecosystem.
Qualifications & Experience
- Saudi national.
- 4+ years of experience in government or public sector technology sales.
- Successfully closed deals with government entities with proof of performance.
- Experience working within B2B SaaS environments.
- Deep understanding of procurement processes: Etimad, RFP cycles, compliance documentation and approvals.
- Experience in analytics, CX platforms, AI or social listening solutions is highly preferred.
