Role Overview

Van Salesman, Tamer Group.

Role Purpose

Drive sales growth and market coverage by executing daily sales routes, meeting distribution objectives, managing customer relationships, and maintaining product quality and company asset standards.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue

• Achieve daily, monthly, and annual sales objectives by category, SKU, and customer-based plan.
• Deliver total sales by brand and by SKU as measured against targets.

Distribution & Coverage

• Ensure achievement of distribution and coverage objectives for assigned journey plan.
• Execute route plan following according to company standards.
• Deliver goods distribution to outlets in accordance with company priority.
• Measure and report strike rate performance.

Stock & Inventory Management

• Ensure accuracy of actual stock quantity per item matches system inventory at all times.
• Implement FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) replenishment plan.
• Adhere to company policy on damages and expiry products.
• Ensure no exceptions on returns for expired or damaged goods unless official written agreement or company approval exists.

Point of Sale & Merchandising

• Ensure POSM (Point of Sale Material) is deployed to company standards and guidelines.
• Ensure products are placed and displayed in hygienic areas.
• Deploy visibility displays within assigned customer locations.
• Monitor number of active company chillers.

Pricing & Customer Communication

• Ensure pricing is clear and transparent to customers.

Collections & Financial Management

• Collect all daily sales amounts and deposit to company accounting cashier no later than the next working day, with day closing receipt.
• Track and report daily collection amount deposits.

Product & Asset Management

• Ensure proper use of company assets.
• Ensure vehicle refrigerator air conditioning is working and maintained in good condition to keep products sellable.
• Monitor vehicle handling performance.

Market Intelligence

• Highlight competitor activity on a regular basis.

Systems & Administration

• Complete new customer files.
• Manage HHD (handheld device) handling.
• Implement market implementation activities.
