Role Overview
3PL Healthcare Warehouse Manager at Tamer Group, managing third-party logistics operations for healthcare distribution.
Role Purpose
Oversee and manage all warehouse operations for a healthcare-focused third-party logistics facility, ensuring efficient inventory management, compliance with healthcare regulations, and timely order fulfillment while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of healthcare products.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate stock availability.
- Implement and maintain warehouse management systems and standard operating procedures.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and ensure proper functioning of material handling equipment.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with healthcare industry regulations, including FDA requirements and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain quality and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for all warehouse operations.
- Implement corrective actions for identified deficiencies.
Team Leadership
- Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff including forklift operators, pickers, and packers.
- Develop performance standards and conduct performance evaluations.
- Foster a safety-first culture and reduce workplace incidents and injuries.
- Plan workforce scheduling to meet operational demands.
Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to coordinate logistics activities.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Communicate operational challenges and performance metrics to senior management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of warehouse management experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical logistics.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale warehouse operations.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
