3D VISUALIZER

Role Overview

3D Visualizer with NMDC Group. This role creates high-quality, photorealistic 3D visualizations and animations for marine, dredging, and infrastructure projects, supporting the Engineering and Commercial departments in design communication, client presentations, and project proposals.

Role Purpose

To produce accurate and compelling visual content using industry-standard software tools, ensuring all deliverables reflect NMDC's professional standards and project requirements. Transform design concepts and technical drawings into realistic visual presentations while maintaining accuracy and visual appeal.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

• Produce photorealistic 3D renderings of marine, dredging, port, and infrastructure projects using 3ds Max, V-Ray, and Lumion.
• Develop 3D concept models and design visualizations for client presentations, tender submissions, and management approvals.
• Create project flythroughs, walkthrough animations, and construction methodology simulations to support Engineering and Commercial teams.

Asset Management & Technical Alignment

• Build and maintain 3D scenes and assets in SketchUp and 3ds Max, ensuring accuracy and alignment with engineering drawings and design intent.
• Assist the 3D Visualization Manager in managing visualization assets, file libraries, and project archives.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate with the Engineering, BIM, and Project Management teams to ensure visual outputs are consistent with project scope and technical requirements.
• Support the 3D Visualization Manager in developing and maintaining a consistent visualization workflow across ongoing and future projects.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Civil, Construction, Architecture, or Structural) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in 3D visualization in similar industries.
• Revit, Civil 3D, and Navisworks Software Certificates are preferred for NMDC D&M.

Skills & Competencies

• 3ds Max, Lumion, Twinmotion, Unreal Engine, Unity, V-Ray, Enscape, Infraworks, ACC, Power BI, Dynamo.
• SketchUp proficiency.
• Detail-oriented approach to visual accuracy and design intent.
• Ability to translate technical drawings into realistic visual presentations.
