Role Overview

Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist (CAMHS) with Pulse Healthcare in Doha, Qatar. This is a private outpatient practice serving an international patient base, offering genuine scope to help shape the service as part of an expanding team.

Role Purpose

Provide comprehensive outpatient psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and ongoing management for child and adolescent patients within scheduled clinic sessions, while maintaining accurate clinical documentation in line with clinic and Qatar regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Assessment and Management

• Provide outpatient psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and ongoing management for CAMHS patients
• Manage a broad CAMHS case mix, including mood, anxiety, and personality disorders
• Deliver consultations within scheduled clinic sessions
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in line with clinic and Qatar regulatory standards

Multidisciplinary Collaboration

• Work closely with a wider multidisciplinary team, including clinical psychologists and allied therapists

Qualifications & Experience

• CCT, CCST, or equivalent EU specialisation in Psychiatry
• Minimum 2 years' post-certification clinical experience at Consultant level
• Demonstrable experience in CAMHS psychiatry
• Registered (or eligible for registration) with the Department of Healthcare Professions (DHP), Qatar—formerly QCHP

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

• Salary: £110,000 equivalent tax-free plus bonus (50–65K QAR per month including bonus)
• No inpatient beds, no emergency department, no on-call commitment
• Outpatient-only, appointment-based working pattern
• Relocation support and visa sponsorship provided
