Role Overview

Transaction Banking IT Project Manager - OBDX with VAM Systems in Qatar operations.

Role Purpose

Lead complex banking technology and digital transformation projects with expertise in transaction banking platforms, legacy system migration, and end-to-end project delivery within banking environments.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Governance

• Establish project governance, planning, budgeting, risk management, and issue resolution frameworks.
• Manage project scope, change control, and senior stakeholder reporting.
• Deliver projects on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

Digital & Legacy System Migration

• Own legacy system migration strategies to new digital platforms.
• Plan and execute data migration, reconciliation, testing, cutover, and post-migration stabilization.
• Coordinate system integration and cutover planning across migration programs.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Partner with business, technology, operations, compliance, and vendor teams.
• Coordinate vendor management and stakeholder engagement throughout project lifecycle.

Testing & Deployment

• Oversee SIT, UAT, production deployment, and post-go-live support.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 10–15 years of progressive experience in banking technology project management.
• Strong exposure to transaction banking, digital banking, and migration programs.
• Prior experience managing large-scale implementation or migration projects in banking.
• PMP Certification.
