Role Overview

Islamic Studies Teacher (Part-time) at Waad Education.

Role Purpose

Deliver Islamic education instruction aligned with the approved curriculum, fostering Islamic values, positive conduct, and academic growth in students.

Key Responsibilities

Instruction & Curriculum Delivery

• Teach Islamic Education in accordance with the approved curriculum.
• Teach topics in Quranic Studies, Hadith, Islamic Creed, Islamic Jurisprudence, and Prophetic Biography.
• Prepare and design lessons and educational plans suited to student needs.
• Employ diverse and interactive teaching strategies to encourage student participation.
• Integrate modern educational tools and technology into instruction.

Assessment & Student Support

• Prepare assignments, activities, tests, and conduct continuous evaluation.
• Monitor student academic progress and provide support to students requiring reinforcement.

Classroom & Learning Environment

• Maintain a positive, safe, and motivating classroom environment.
• Promote Islamic values and principles and positive behavior among students.

Collaboration & Professional Engagement

• Collaborate with department team, school administration, and parents to serve student interests.
• Participate in school activities, events, staff meetings, and professional development programs.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Islamic Studies, Sharia, Islamic Education, or a related field.
• Previous experience teaching Islamic Education, preferably at the intermediate school level.
• Experience in private or international schools is preferred.
